Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has clinched the Ligue 1 title for the second consecutive season with a resounding victory over fellow Parisian side Nantes on Sunday evening.
The match was played at the Parc des Princes and saw PSG dominate throughout, scoring two goals in the first half to lead 2-0 at halftime. The second goal came from a Neymar header just before halftime that put PSG ahead by three goals.
Neymar then scored twice more in the second half, his first coming off a cross from Thiago Motta and his second a beautiful solo run down the right wing that led to a perfectly placed shot past the goalkeeper.
In addition to Neymar's two goals, he also assisted on four other goals, including one each for Mauro Icardi and Angel Di Maria. It was a remarkable performance from the Brazilian superstar who has been in scintillating form this season.
The win means that PSG have won their fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title and fifth overall, and they will be looking to defend their title next season. It was another dominant display from PSG as they continue to dominate the French top flight.
